Music

River – Bishop Briggs

This song has such an empowering quality to it that inspires you to take matters into your own hands and excel in every life area.

Amanecer – Luis Miguel

This intricate cover of the 1978 song of the same name is so romantic and heartwarming while capturing the beauty of love to the fullest.

Fire Meet Gasoline – Sia

This is the ultimate song for a turbulent relationship which although flawed is full of passion and liveliness.

It’s Been a Long Long time – Kitty Kallen

Released In 1945 this romantic and wholesome song is told from the perspective of a person welcoming home his or her loved one at the end of the world. It became a hit after the end of World War II and recently came to prominence through Avengers Endgame (that scene with Steve and Peggy was the perfect conclusion to their love story).

The Very Thought of You – Al Bowlly

Another big band Era song, this time from 1934, which is tender and calming to the sound as well as loving in lyrics. There are many covers by a lot of talented singers but Al Bowlly is in my opinion the best and most expressive of them all.

Who’s Sorry Now – Connie Francis

It’s hard to believe that this song was first released in 1923! However Connie Francis’s 1957 version is the most iconic and thanks to Disney’s Cruela de Vil it became popular again.
